What's better than fresh laundry?

It seems like fresh laundry shows up on a lot of people's lists of things that make them happy. I think at least a hundred of my facebook friends have that listed as one of their interests. I get it. Really, I do. It's one of the simple things; seeing it hanging on a line, the smell of it coming out of the dryer, the coziness of fresh towels. My husband is one of these people that loves fresh laundry, especially the smell. Whenever we see a display of scented candles, that's always the one he opens and inhales first. I just can't get on board with a love of laundry though. While I concede that a basket of fresh laundry beats a hamper of the dirty stuff handily, it just doesn't turn me on the way it seems to do for most people. You know what I think would be really swell? If I could forgo the laundry altogether and just have a closet of new clothes every time. Yeah, that would be way better I think.

I do love the smell of clean clothes. hate folding them though so I totally agree that a closet full of new clothes is the best option!

Hi Erin.. oh I just love fresh laundry off the line. Up here in Canada there are many months when it is just not an option, so I love the summer months just for the laundry alone!
I've trained my daughters to take it off the line and fold it as they go, the Tom Sawyer effect, hehe, they love it!

Gosh darnet - I am so with you! I can't stand doing laundry - I don't mind putting it in the washer - but it's the folding it. That sucks!

Hi Erin, I loved laundry on the line. Here in my neighborhood no one does this but me! I am the only one with a clothes line. Have a good day!

LOL! New clothes each time - totally BRILLIANT! Although, I do have fond memories of running through fresh laundered clothes hanging in my grandmother's backyard. Especially loved wrapping myself in the fresh sheets while they were still hanging in the sun - fragrant!
